From Wes King, Policy Coordinator, Illinois Stewardship Alliance:
Karl Tupper with the Pesticide Action Network of North America (PANNA) recently reached out to Illinois Stewardship Alliance about an atrazine water monitoring project they are trying to get off the ground in Illinois. The main goal of the project is to document contamination of drinking water with atrazine and hopefully catalyze interest in the issue among citizens in Illinois. They are looking for individuals in Illinois both in rural and urban settings and on both public water supplies and private wells to collect tap water samples. PANNA will cover all of the costs associated with sampling: shipping, analysis, etc.
